Rochelle Frank

Rochelle Frank  taught in elementary schools as a substitute  teacher and also presented sub teacher training workshops.

Her higher education was focused on journalism and art history.

Working for a couple of years  as a free-lancer, she wrote human interest stories and humor articles for regional papers.

With  free-lance photographer Linda Gast, she  produced a children's book using Linda's actual photos of a tiny owl.  "So What, Saw-Whet?" , is now sold in many nature centers across the North America-- especially in areas inhabited by the Saw-Whet Owl.

Now living in the "Mother Lode, Gold-Rush" part of rural California, away from the big cities, Rochelle  volunteers to lead tourists astray by giving occasional tours  at Mariposa Museum and History Center near Yosemite National Park.

Her hubs are varied, with subjects related to education, California Gold Rush history, cooking, shopping and  some  of them are just pure silliness. You'll have to figure out which are which, yourself.

She says,"I write about , writing, art, recipes, shopping, sub teaching, the California Gold Rush, garden gnomes, housekeeping, disasters, processed foods, history, travel, medicine, recycling, cement dinosaurs, country living, animals, vegetables, and minerals-- plus a few miscellaneous subjects to keep from getting in a rut."

She hopes you will read and comment on some of hubs, and  also hopes you will sign up for HubPages by clicking on the  blue letters HERE.

Write some of your own stories and enjoy the ride.
